About Us

Temple Beth Sholom has been serving the Bay Area since 1886, when a small group of committed Jews came across the Bay to form the San Leandro Hebrew Congregation. Almost 120 years later, Temple Beth Sholom continues to commit itself to Judaism, the Jewish People, and the Jewish heritage. It holds a vibrant, diverse and warm environment, which continues to grow and evolve for modern day needs and sensibilities. We proudly offer a wide range of religious, social, and educational activities for all ages.
